Question: Tell me about a time when you faced a significant setback in your work. How did you recover from it and what did you learn?
Strong Answer Example:
Context: "At Amazon, I was working on a critical feature for our checkout system that was supposed to launch before Black Friday. Three weeks before the launch, we discovered a major security vulnerability that would require completely redesigning the feature, putting the entire project at risk."
Initial Impact: "The setback was significant - we had already invested 6 months of development work and the new feature was supposed to be a major competitive advantage. My manager was understandably concerned about missing the Black Friday deadline, and the team morale dropped significantly when we realized we had to start over."
